McGoo's Newz

02/11

Tisch!Tisch! Late again!

Yeah... Kind of. But how many times do I have to make this excuse? I'm late on Sunday night and I'm promising a comic (and Newz by and large) for Monday. Pretty good deal considering all I get out of it is the respect of dozens of people.

Anyhow, I'm guessing you enjoyed last weekend's Teen Angel (#3 and #4) by Eunice_P, Nerdz fan #1 and auteur of Ghosts Hunters. It's either that or the people who came for Ghosts Hunters only come for quality comics. For shame! Help out the little guy, here!

Napoleon Bonaparte stop stealing my traffic!

Have I plugged Versus lately? Wanna know why? It's pretty much on-going, once a month. The debate's actually heating up because a third person came in and wrote forcing me to temporarily change sides. There's me, SuperJoe of J-Walkin' (now with some sort of theme song, I hear) and PDI's urm... PDI! who is... half of PDI, Scott Maddix. See! Using the same name for various objects isn't confusing at all. Table agrees with me.

I have to look at PDI sometime. That reminds me. There's some referring I have to do here.

::fumbles::

Wait! Hold on...

::puts on magical referring top hat::

I'd make a thing of this, but I know I'll forget.

1. Pentasmal. I used to call this comic "my favorite comic I don't read" but that all changed when I got caught up. Now it's just great. Here's the thing, though, Aaron Farber, its creator, comma, killed the main characters. Normally this is a bad thing, right? Nope! I'm about as resistant to change as Strom Thurmond and I LOVE the new Pentasmal. It makes me sad that it's only a Mon.-Fri. deal. That's definitely worth looking at.

2. Penny Arcade has made a return. You know you have to go if you haven't already.

3. Boxjam's Doodle is an archive I just started. I'm about halfway through and it's tremendous. Careful, though, because it has addictive names.

4. Rusty the Boy Robot & Big Guy. I think I got that reversed. After months of complaining to no one Fox brought it back and, although it's not as good as I remember, it's still a great deal of fun. It's on... what? 3:30 PM weekdays. Worth taping.

5. Spider-Man Unlimited. You know I love this show.

6. Space Ghost: C2C. Tape this show at midnight between Saturday and Sunday. It's absurdist minimalism on TV! I thought that was limited to comic strips and art. ::shudders at "art"::

That's all the new comics\TV stuff that I have for now. You'll be a better person if you limit yourself to what I recommend.
